FSA Adjusted Gross Income

Write your awesome label here.

Course Description

A farm program payment can be lost on the return, not in the field. A single high-income year, a joint filing, or how the test runs through an ownership structure can push a producer past the FSA adjusted gross income limit — out of ARC and PLC, and out of other USDA programs unless the 75% farm-income exception applies. The rules rarely track income-tax intuition. This course is built for tax professionals who handle farm clients but seldom work FSA eligibility, walking through which of the three FSA certification forms (CCC-941, CCC-942, CCC-943) applies to a given program, how average AGI is measured across entity types, when the 75% gross-income exception rescues a producer who would otherwise fail, and how a filing-status election repairs a joint-return problem.
